I keep hearing Vick is being traded to Oakland for Randy Moss and Glen Jacobs but I can't find info on it anywhere. Anybody know something bout it?

somehow i get the feeling you know nothing about football.
vick is uncoachable. not because of how he acts, but because nobody knows how to use him. matt schaub is known by every team in the league as the best quarterback not getting to play.
second, vick had his chances. he has been in the league 6 years. he's fun, he fills seats, sells jerseys, but doesn't win.
next, moss is not a beotch. he is one of the most athletic and talented receivers in the game. he is just a headcase that needs a good quarterback.

the trade won't happen anytime soon if he is traded though. check this out.
The Falcons would take a $22.6 million cap hit to trade or release Michael Vick before June 1.
If the Falcons wait until after June 1 to cut him, they'd save $6 million. It would be ridiculous to trade Vick because of the cap hit. Profootballtalk.com doesn't think either scenario is as likely as Atlanta trading Vick in early 2008 with a restructured contract.

But I know my fair share of football, considering bieng one of the top Utah prospects in high school coming out of my junior year. And recieving offers from seven Division 1 schools to play ball for them. And seeing where your at, one of the schools included Washington St. that gave me an offer. But I had to turn them down cause of a new born boy!
I just want to say thank you to all the people I had to step on to get here..............hahahahaha
if you turned down college scholarships because you have a kid on the way, you are an idiot. a bonafide idiot. any true man, woman, and child would understand that you are going to college to get an education and get paid in the real world so you CAN support your family.
you think you are doing the grown up thing by staying home and taking care of a new baby? i think being a man would entail you going to college so you could support them. your woman and child would be more grateful for that than whatever meaningless job you will get there. i support the fact that you want to take care of your kid and baby's momma, but somewhere you went wrong in your decision.
just my .02. and i'm fine where i'm at. i have a house, 2 sick cars, a motorcycle and i make $70k. not too shabby for being 26 and wasting 4 years in the air force.

I understand what your saying , I turned them down to better prepare myself for the baby. Cause the way I looked at it was like CLASS to PRACTICE to WORK and that would suck no time with the lady or baby.
But I am talking to BYU about my situation, and there willing to help. They said they would help with the living costs + a partial scholarship until I can show that I am still worthy of a full ride on the field. Hopefully it will all work out.
But I do know you have to make sacrafices to better provide for your family.

it takes the receivers making catches as well dude...ive seen numerous times that vick through right on target and the receivers dropped the ball...so lets turn that around and say vick is a headcase that needs some good receivers...
and i doubt the trade will happen...atlanta's new coach even stated he was looking forward to working with vick after he was hired...

Vick doesn't need recievers, he needs a strong offensive line and some good blocking TE's so Atlanta can run the tripple option lol

Yeah, vick will never be traded. He doesnt need a new te. Alge Crunkler, as i like to call him, is the best reciever on the team, and a damn fine te. They pretty much just need a o line and atleast one good wr to draw double coverage to open up the field. who's their "best" reciever? Lelie who is a fucking disappointment.
I agree with what marino has been saying. Make him your qb and rb. or atleast run singleback/shotgun formations with the fb in to block. meh, I dunno though, shit, nobody knows what to do with him.

k. You got me on that one. He has come into his own, and is performing as expected. He is the exception to the rule that running quarterbacks should be extinct.
Vick is a great qb. He just isn't as effective as a rusher, as he should be as a qb. It's hard to explain, atleast in my head, but like he doesn't have the line to give him much of a pocket to pass out of, his receivers can't catch, so he runs. It's not as effective in putting points on the board, as a pocket qb is.

Coming from a true Atlanta fan. I highly doubt Vick will be traded, what the team needs is a better offensive line, maybe they should have the D line play both sides of the ball, lol, I totally agree Alge is their best reciever, They fucked up a few years ago when they traded Price.

Peerless Price?? you kiddin me? he really only has 1 (maybe 2) seasons to be proud of. he was one of the biggest busts. Remember, atlanta got him and traded away their first round pick. He did shit in atl lol
