Thanks B...

I've been alright...all I seem to do anymore is work and sleep. Otherwise, everything is fine. I've been on here and there, but nothing substantial...

Fuck bittorrents. I use Limewire and it gets me my obscure results.

It's like playing Quake2 online now. There are like 3 players in the world, but at least I have a chance of winning.

you should heard my friend's conversation with his brother, over the phone, at denny's

Code:
go to google and type in azureus.

a-z-u-r-e-u-s

okay click on the top real link, not the ad in the blue section. it should take you to source forge.

K, you should see a section that says latest release and then a set of 4 numbers.

what do you mean yu only see a download button?

what does it say in the address bar

the place where you type www ass hat

i said click on the one that WASNT in the blue area

click back.

now click the SECOND link, it should take you to source forge.

now do you see the thing that says latest release?

click the numbers that are there...k, now click on the top thing that says windows and the download should start.

and thats just downloading azureus.....the actual downloading of a torrent was worse. try explaining the fact that you have to search for your file on the internet before you can download it in the program....its interesting when people are so used to bearshare, limewire and kazaa.

lol i remember when i started using Azereus. i was a lil confused as well as to what to do. didnt take long tho.

as far as sites go, i use demonoid.com and torrentspy.com and occaionaly limewire when i am looking for a single song.

You can download single songs with azureus too. just de select all the songs you dont want.

:werd:.. i've done that a few times.. but i generally get the whole album..

someone find The Pursuit of Function for me.. :D

In the multimedia section, Jared put up his article about Bittorrents.

HAHAHA.. i tell people i dont p2p anymore because anything not similar to napster is too difficult for them. setting up a torrent client is too hard for most people, especially if you have a router that doesnt play nice. then try explain port fowarding.

anyway, utorrent > azuerus. easier to use and less resources.

Setting up the router was cake for me once I figured out how setup my static IP. I am such a networking noob, but the port-forwarding was a straight forward, logical setup.

yeah, but mike, you know what an ip address is. the average person doesnt.
