kobe had a huge game last night. watch the dunk about halfway through the video. he can score at will, he's becoming a team player, and he's winning more and more without shaq. i'm impressed.

ESPN.com - NBA - Recap - Lakers at Celtics

he's the fucking man....he hasn't been my favorite player since 8th grade for no reason :D My girlfriend got me one of those authentic autographed framed pictures a few years back. I got it hanging right next to my augraphed Michael Vick and Reggie Bush pictures :)

anyway, he was probably still pissed about that rediculous suspension. Shit, he flew out to NY so some retard could say "your suspended, so you can't even attend the game tonight" I'd be fucking pissed too, he coulda stayed in LA one extra day to stay home and fuck his fine ass wife.

yeah he was near tripple doubble, that's way cooler then 40 pnts IMO

kobe is pretty much the man. Has been the whole time he's been playing.

i still find it funny the Knicks, my favorite team, beat them two nights ago. Just goes to show that the Lakers will lose to one of the worst teams w/o Kobe.

anyone see jamal crawfords game last friday? go here http://videosearch.nba.com/search/?sp_a=sp10038c44&sp_f=ISO-8859-1&sp-t=video&sp_s=postdate&sp_advanced=&sp_k=wmvasf&sp_q=jamal+crawfordhttp://videosearch.nba.com/search/?sp_a=sp10038c44&sp_f=ISO-8859-1&sp-t=video&sp_s=postdate&sp_advanced=&sp_k=wmvasf&sp_q=jamal+crawford click on the second one down. (if it doesnt work, search for jamal crawford) He's gonna be somethin.

i love allen iverson. he is so much fun to watch and has some rediculous offensive ability. give the nuggets time, they'll definately be a team to not take lightly.

Lebron... well he IS the next jordan. Believe it. I'm a witness.

watch lebron just stare at the guy coming to block the dunk.

see thread title, "i wish i was stronger, faster, and black"

That #2 Delfino dunk was pretty good too, but im a 'stones fan. Carter was throwing it down too.

But as far as Kobe, Lebron, and the rest - they are all fucking fantastic to watch. That's why I have no interest in college sports, all the best athletes are at the pro level because it brings out the best in them. I dont have time to watch them grow up, just show me the peak years.

the nba has become a lot better!! I love how every team has atleast one great player and has legit chances of beating a good team. Example, the Suns winning streak ended by Garnett and the T'wolves.

anyone watching this rediculous duke game?? College is much more exciting though, i like to see people who actually hustle. :p

Lebron... well he IS the next jordan. Believe it. I'm a witness.

i disagree. he is more like magic johnson or oscar robertson. oscar is the only person to ever average a triple double over the course of the season. and he has court vision like magic. good shit though.

hey, it took mj 6 years before he wont a title, give him time. Plus, lebron is very young, he still needs to develop. I've argued with people that he should of gone to college, not just for the experience, but for the skills you learn. If he went to college, its been said he would of gone to 'cuse with carmello... man.... lebron, mello, warrick, and mac.... they would of dominated.

I agree with Nick. LeBron just doesn't seem to have that strong, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant type passion for the game. It seems like he thinks he's good enough where he is at. He needs to step up his defense a lot if he wants to be on the same level as Kobe is and where Michael was.

Does Lebron need time to develop? yes, but he's in his 3rd year. How much more time does he need to become this great superstar everyone was saying he would be? Kobe, Garnett and Jermaine O'neal NEVER got the news coverage LeBron has gotten, look where they are now. However, Kobe is an exception since he was surrounded by a great organization from the get go not to mention Magic helped him a lot. Now the Lakers got Kareem helping Bynum, the Laker organization is an awesome place to be, especially for a young player. LeBron doesn't really have anyone to help him so i'll give hime the benefit of the doubt. but 3 seasons, going on 4 and he is still nearly on the same skill level as he was as a rookie, with the exception of his jumper. His jumper has gotten better but it's still nothing to fear like Jordan's was and like Kobe and Gilbert Arenas are now.

dominated? they won the national championship melo's only year. how much more do you need. plus, mello would have had to stay an extra year to play with lebron and that wouldnt' make sense, he already won a title and wanted to get paid like a motherfucker.

i wouldn't say "from the get go". lest we forget he was drafted by charlotte and traded for vlade divac.

but he was helped a lot in l.a. he had phil jackson, shaq, rick fox. he had a great supporting cast, coaching staff, and upper management.

dude, he got traded ON draft day so yeah, from the get go lol and phil wasn't there until Kobe's 3rd year. Rick Fox didn't show up until Kobe's 2nd year (if I remember correctly)

well, charlotte was the get go. lol. i know it was draft day. but i agree completely with you. he had a great environment to start as a new player to the nba. jerry west had that team in top shape quickly.

jerry did a very good job. i was rooting for him to do the same with the grizzleys (sp? fuck i know i didn' spell that coorectly lol) but they don't/didn't have a jerry buss type budget...oh well

they did make it into the playoffs that second year i think. they had a great record for who was on the team. you are right though, he needed a bigger budget.
