...or what's left of it
I got a call right before kickoff that they found my crx. I went down to the impound lot, and the guy let me go take a look at it without paying the 'recovery fee'.
hood is gone, wheels are gone, ECU and OBD1 harness are gone, vtec subharness is gone, intake is gone, nitrous is gone, stereo is gone, and all my cd's are gone.
They left my garage door opener (and therefore, access to my R1), my school shirt, all the interior (minus the passenger speaker grille), the door and rear speakers (Alpines), the engine, the exhaust, and my hoodie. The guy at the impound lot was nice enough to let me take my hoodie home, since it's been chilly lately, and that's my only cold-weather clothing.
I'm curious as to why they left my speakers, but took my CD's. I had 100% rock/metal cd's, something youre average stereotypical 'car theif' would have left...I'm pretty sure either someone from school, or someone who knows someone at school, took my shit. I guarantee you that those wheels will turn up for sale sooner or later. To my knowledge, they were the only set of white Track-R's in houston.
The only damage to the body was the trim on the passenger-side window trim, and there's a big dent in the driver side fender (that I'm pretty sure I can fix easily). Other than that, it's looking pretty good.
As soon as I can scrounge up the cash to get it out of impound, it's time to start the rebuild.
