well you see i have an h22A1, and im planning on boosting it, im not very familiar with boosting anything, this is my first project, so obviously theres alot i dont know, soo about injectors haha ,i was told to get 440cc because i only plan on running 7psi ,so if anyone could help me out , or if your ludes boosted, what are you guys using for injectors, will stock be fine?, if anyone could help me out it would be appreciated

440's sound fine if you stick to that plan. I suggest you start reading A LOT!! This isnt a topic someone can just post a quick 1 2 3 answer to. There's a LOT to a turbo kit, well, a good one anyway :p

thanks

wow, that was fast, thanks for the advice, yeah i have been reading alot, theres alot to this stuff, but sometimes its good to get advice about thigs from people who know this stuff well, thanks man

read the FAQs in the forced induction section.......

i read up on it and since im gonna be boosting stock h22a1 ill keep the boost down, different forums and sites reccomended that i stay under seven, so for now im gonna stay in that range,

ok, like i said im new to this turbo business and theres alot i dont know, as of now im wondering alot about what im going to do about the air/fuel, and was wondering , if i bought and apexi safc neo,and tuned that would i need to do anything with the chip or could it just stay as it is?that is staying at 7psi

ok first boost level has nothing to do with the safety of the engine. second if you are going to run boost you better get something better than an fmu and a safc. you will want a standalone ie: hondata, aem, crome, uberdata etc. tuning is what you need to keep a boosted motor together.

ok now to address the boost level here we go stock h22 two different turbos. (only an example)

t25 (small turbo) on 9psi might make 260- 280 hp
sc 60-1 (much larger turbo) on 9 psi might make upwards of 325-350.

because the sc 60-1 flows more it is able to make more power so remember it is not boost level that breaks things it is hp!!!!

h22's can hold 300hp safely. a t3/t4 57 trim on 9 psi will make roughly 280 hp. on 7 psi it might only make 250-260.

there are people making 350-530hp on stock blocks with no problem. however i dont suggest much over 350

ill be running a t3/t4 with a 60trim , so i will be safe running 9psi easy?

generally speaking yes. but like i said it is all about hp not boost so a good tuner and a dyno are your best friends in this situation.

remember a good intercooler is also crutial

tuning is key when dealing with boosted h22's.

a 60 trim compressor is good, as long as the turbine is not super small. get AT LEAST a .63ar turbine.

I've witnessed turbo h22's blow with only 250whp. why? because the owner tuned with an afc. I've also witnessed turbo h22's run 400whp without a glitch. that one was tuned on crome pro.

The biggest problem with a safc or vafc and boost is that it CAN NOT control timing. Only a/f.

Get on pgmfi.org and start reading how to tune with crome/uber/neptune and how to burn chips.
