So I have the stock z6 in my eg civic. From everything i've read and heard about i decided to purchase another z6 and build it out with eagle rods, sleeved, pnp, everything. Thats as far as i got with that plan. I've been looking around for another z6 for a decent price, low miles, (would It even matter about miles? could I got to the junkyard?) but online and can't seem to find other z6's. Is a d15b a jdm version of the z6? I can find plenty of them but are they the same thing? A little suggestions?

Thanks,
Nick

No, the d15b is .............well
A d15 block with pretty much a z6 head on it.
And the d15b cam is more aggresive than the z6's

I you're going to buid it , miles shouldn't matter. The d15b is different from the z6 and is not a jdm version of the z6. Less displacemnent, different internals, as 801crx said camshaft more agressive ( and looks like they can't be interchanged - someone corect me if wrong), no purge solenoid on d15b, the d15b block is pretty much a d15z1 block. They share the same timing belt , water pump . You should try d16z6 vs d15b on the search engine.

It's running without any problem:) . I love that engine. The problem was a bad ground connection. Thanks for asking. I'll be posting pic today. May be vids if possible.
