I have a 94 VX and with front discs, rear drums. Swapping in a turbo GSR and I am looking for a big brake kit that will fit inside of a 16x7" wheel. I know a lot of people just do the gsr disc conversion or even the ex/si rear disc conversion but wouldnt that be a waste of money since I am wanting aftermarket bigger rotors and calipers to begin with? Does anyone have some ideas for whats going to be best for my setup I don't want to waste money on something I cant use or wont fit. Should I do slotted or cross drilled rotors?

Buy mine? 11 inches all around.

Drilled Rotors can lead to cracking and reduce the surface area of the rotors
90% of people recommend slotted or something like brembo OEM replacements.

what are you looking to do?
race your car or look good driving around town and at shows?
Big brake kits increase unsprung weight and rotational weight as well, so unless you really need (for racing; auto-x) or want (to look good) then just upsize to a factory replacement and clean it up a bit, repaint the calipers maybe in a gloss black pick up fresh brembo blanks.

I would need to upgrade the braking system for my turbo none of it would be for show. I think I am just going to do the rear discs from a civic at the junkyard and run new lines. Probably upgrade the 4 rotors to 11" or whatever fits inside of a 15" wheel and some bigger calipers maybe those brembo blanks you were talking about and if I have to use a 16" wheel I will That I think is my best bet. But correct me if I'm wrong.

I also want to upgrade my brakes, but don't know where to start. I'm getting 15" wheels soon so i don't need bling. I want function. How do I hook up rear discs from an integra or the civic si? If there's a write up on it, can you point me in the right direction. I know calesta will have something that I've over looked
