My first "dream house" was lost, but then a week later I found my "Really dream house"
 
I'm gonna resign the lease on my apartment for 6 months and use that to look and get ready for the big house move.
 
6 months on a lease really means 4 months. I would plan on a 2 month closing process. a one month can be done, but it's a whilwind. a 15 day can be done, but that's a REAL whirlwind.
 
That's fine, because this house would have been a 15 day whirlwind closing. I can deal with knowing I'll be done after a 2 month closing.


This house would have had to been closed on March 1st, and my lease is up April 1st. So... roughly 17 days. Yeah.
 
Ever since declaring the closing date on this new house, time has actually stopped man. I can't wait.

It's now to the point where someone says "This is going to cost you $800" and without skipping 1 second I say "Fine, take it. Just don't change that closing date"

Living that close to a liquor store and your parents will allow for the pop-in when your drunk because you had nothing better to do. I believe you should live close to both but 3 blocks from a liquor store and a few more from your parents.
 
My parents don't pop in. haha

I lived 6 blocks from them in my first apartment and my dad NEVER, EVER came over. I had to invite my mom 3 months before I moved out to come over and just see the place.
 
I'm using this 500 to pay some bills early, and once I demand my money back from driftspeed it's going to get put into my savings.

Yeah when he called and said it was sold I forgot to tell him to keep sending me listings, so I called back after finishing my last job and left him a VM saying I want to continue looking.

btw... DON'T UNPLUG SHIT PEOPLE!! They complained their fax didn't have dialtone, someone unplugged the "Stick" line sharing device and didn't plug it back in.

Paperwork for the counter offer I presented has been signed. Busy day tomorrow! I welcome this whirlwind of activity. Closing by 2/28/07... ack.
 
oh man, yeah, you're gonna be BUSY. carry your papers with you. I had to get papers ready for someone at the hospital, at work, and at a restaurant. I did some of the paperwork for another house in the middle of disneyland.
