i dont' understand what is so cool about these cars.

It's amazing because I Think that every 240-280Z ever made is still on the road.

And these things are worth a mint.

poor man porsche... anthing can be dropped into them for a powerplant, RWD, sexy curves, original swappers... and once you drive a sweet one, or even a stock one...you will fall in love.

same can be said about honda's...

I can't say anything, because I'm all pissed off that I get my balls broken about owning a Vega.

But Airjockie's Z is neat. With roll cages, bars, xtinguishers, the car is basically a fighter jet of cars. It's all business.

Air uses his for Drift, but I think it's not a great drift car. They are, however, very easy to setup for serious track business and in the twisties they handle unlike any other car of that vintage. Most of the older ones fetch high prices because they are emissions exempt. Also, a V8 fits under the hood quite nicely.

ok, i understand function over fashion. i have seen some killer z's. even some with rb26 swaps. but bone stock, these things are hideous and look uncomfortable as hell to ride in.

They follow a certain design principle you don't find anymore. The interiors are dark and cavernous - like things were in the 70s. Visibility is secondary. But ride and control, they are fine.
