this is what i am talking about.
also what is the benifits of changing the lower control arms in the rear? the reason why i am asking is because i have lowering springs already with the the car and i am going to get new shocks and camber kit. and i wanted to know if it worth getting those bars as welll. o and does it matter weather its some ebay jump offs or should i get the DC sports one. thanks guys

yeah, so they no longer have the hinge joints.

they strengthen the sheet metal on the body. buy them, and get them welded. i put some on my car and i was suprised at the change in the way my car took turns. it wasn't much, but more than i expected.

well i wasn't saying i was going to get those i was just showing you what i was talking about. but i have been doing a lot of reading and from what i am finding they are mostly for looks the real parts i would need are sway bars is that correct?

yes sway bars do far more
these bars can be good... you just need to get good bars that are of solid construction, with no pivot points, that connect to the right areas to brace shit the right way

I have a set of knock off ones from Ebay. they work great and unless you are putting your car through some serious road courses the knock off will work great for daily driver. you will hug corners like nuts on a sweaty summer day!

lol good to know thanks for the info, i am just looking to finish it up over the summer because the ride is so dam bouncy so i figure get everything at once.

get adjustable shocks (KYB is what I have) and set the setting to stiff. My Civic is dialed down about 2" and I had to change the setting to the stiffest possible. I didn't dial down until camber in place though. remember every little thing counts for mods forget what everyone else says. OH you don't need that it doesn't make that much difference. Well 5-6 more horse over the next is still more horses period!

yeah i feel you but i was figuring i have the time and i don't mind spending money so i figure doing all at one shot. i am still wondering about the rear lca if i should change them out or not, being that i might get a rear swaybar do i need to change the lca for it?

i bought a set of NRG strut braces from modacar.com, 50 bucks each. they were the cheapest thing on there, but if your not planning on doing full race, they work fine. they aren't adjustable at all, but they come in three pieces, i just welded the bolts on mine.

as long as you get bolt on lca's it won't hurt any and it will handle way better than stock. my suggeestion if you have money to spend and can do it at once: lca's, adjustable shocks, adjustable camber kit, strut brace (upper and lower), sway bar (front and rear), and while you are replacing shocks and struts replace bushings. I think that will cover everything you desire for bolt on ride handling.

get a GSR sway bar. all you have to do is drill through the LCAs and the subframe to mount it. easy as pie.

so to weld it, do I put them on and then weld the bolts? Well put them on, adjust it to fit properly, take it off and weld it in place

i welded the joints on all of mine while they were attached to the car.

note i did not say weld them TO the car haha  if i didnt specify i know one of you would have.
