Win the Day
I love war games, and not Command and Conquer or Halo either

I started playing Kingdom under Fire again, I forgot how much that game owned. Once I finish it I'll start on "Heroes" the sequel. It really takes me back to the days of Shingin the ruler and Nobanaga's Ambition on the NES.

are there any more games like this I haven't heard of?

OMG YOU'RE A MOO FAN?!?!?!?!?!

Moo2 was really great!!! i have 1,2 and 3. 3 seems unfinished and is really finicky about what hardware i run it on.

Moo3 made me cry. I waited so long for that game, got it the day it was released... only to suffer the biggest disappointment in my video gaming life.

Moo2 however, incredible game.

Phasing Cloak + Time Warp Facilitator = broken :)

i agree! do you micromanage or let the AI auto-build your ship mods? i used to micromanage EVERYTHING but that gets shitty when you are on the harder difficulties with the larger galaxy sizes.

favorite race? Psilons, of course.

I always micromanage.

Psilons are fun, however I enjoy building my own race. Creative, subterranean, research always increased. I would take hits with low-g and spying to make up for the insane prices I had to pay, especially for creative. Sometimes I would swap Sub-T for telepathic (I love technology... if I cannot build it, I steal it). When I advance to the level of Evolutionary Mutation, I will always choose Warlord since, at about that point, I am ready to lay down the ass kicking.

Here's a neat little trick I always use to put my game over the edge. When/If you conquer Orion and colonize it, make the first thing you build or buy an android worker. Once he's built, move every bit of your population off the planet. Have that worker build more workers and scientists. No pollution, no need for food, no need for morale boosts and the planet will produce output at an absolutely insane scale.

The only downside is if your race is aquatic or sub-t, you lose that bonus when you offload your population.

I guess I cant pass judgement. I play World of Warcraft.
