turbo sol

I need some ligaments!!!
ok, so me and my pops were sitting down and thinking about the injectors in the sol...we have come to the conclusion that we need bigger ones. the 440's that are in it now are working overtime trying to keep up:(. somewhere i read about 5sumthin-somthin injectors. i think it was 550's or 525 or something of the sort. my question is does anyone know of any bigger injectors we can put in without going to a new ecu setup( the switch from low to high impedance)? ive searched all over for the place i rread that article but i can't find it

What type of injectors are you using? OBD1 OBD2? I think RC makes 550cc injectors in saturated and peak and hold form. I would try contacting them.

It doesnt matter what you go with...saturated or peak and hold...if you do peak and hold you'll need a resistor box or in line resistors. you can use the same ecu assuming you're tuned on some sort of engine management rather than hacking with the s/vafc.

they are saturated injectors and you can't put in a resistor box without changing the ecu to a standalone unit. i'm looking for the same resistance injectors in a higher cc rating.

Take your pick then rc has 550cc, 650cc, 750cc, 1000cc all saturated injectors. I am using their 650cc injectors for my boosted ls/vtec.

Yes you can, people do it all the time. Just change your map scalars to account for the larger injectors.

Yeah change your MAP then run the injectors of your choice.

The thing is is that you have to get the air/fuel mixture right.
