My only personal issue with China is that satellite they blew apart in orbit.

Other than that, they kill babies, dogs, are evil, most polluting, corrupt and completely without virtue.

the original post i made had nothing to do with china. it was a post saying that the u.s. should harden punishment on criminals to deter crime. but it probably wouldn't work anyways so it doesn't really matter.

So you have one incident and a list of bullshit. Not to say your list of bullshit doesn't/isn't/hasn't occurred, but its still just a list of bullshit.
 
It sucks, but they're still a century+ behind us growth wise. They've got the technology and lots of economic growth right now - and a lot of social/political/environmental/etc. growth ahead of them. I'm not sure I could condemn them right now because they need to show signs they're going to change.
 
Yeah, but they aren't that all behind us - in many regards they are right alongside us. But they harbor some really backwards ideas. Imagine Manifest Destiny in today's terms. The same rotten shit that we felt justified for when it came to killin' injuns.

They aren't exactly following it, but they have ideas that are similarly retarded.
