I don't know a thing about any of those cars. But some look like some serious exotics from back in the day. Score for that owner.

House paid for itself I'm guessing.

They're all rusted and fubar'd.

Nice collection, but most are worthless.

5 Lotuses. Countless Austins, several Tipos, several Volvos, a few American cars, two Gordini powered Formula cars, ... my god. I know what every car in that garage is.

That's kind of a large building to simply go unnoticed.

If that happened to me, I don't know whether I'd cream my pants or shit 'em...

i'm with Cel on this one, how do you buy a house and not notice the BIG FUCKING BARN with 100 cars in it? or was it a totally dumb fuck real estate agent?

also, i want to see the farm house. if the guy could afford 100 cars i bet that house is big as fuck.

It was padlocked, rusted shut.

Guy took a grinder or something and took the lock off.

I was reading about this on nasioc.com the other day.

The door was padlocked shut. I guess the agent didn't bother to open it and see what's inside.

edit: beat me to it

what's your point? this is exactly why you look at shit. so you are telling me that if you are selling or buying property, you dont look at the whole lot?

or are you along the lines of, "hey, i love this house and farm, but there is a big barn over there. it's either got 100 dead bodies or 100 antique cars in it. but i'm not going to look until after i buy it"

these thoughts don't work for me. i still don't see how someone could miss that.

looks like the building was climate controlled at one time
i wonder if they're all stolen...

that is by far the dumbest thing i have EVER heard...
even if they are just chassis's that are mostly rotted away they are still worth a fortune

Most stuff isn't worth a fortune there.

The porsches, alfas, etc. are worth something but the other cars really aren't going to fetch more than your average honda beater in the same condition.

Thats a crazy amount of cars to be just "hiding away". I would be in heaven if that was me. Turbo everything FTW :D

Over here some people do that; they don't really look at everything but just buy. Land is precious, and for some people, that's all they care about; land. It's more of a "100 acres in whatever county? Niceeeee. I'll take it.

every one of those cars can be considered classic/antique and most are rare as fuck

i would say there's no less than 1mil sitting in there

looks like some of the cars were being restored or something, hence the visible bondo

and ye, someone buying a farm is usually more interested in the land than in a couple of old buildings

holy shit, that guy hit the jackpot.. those would probably pay for the house and another one

Estate sale.

Old man dies, has no family, no will. Dude picks it up at a government auction for stupid cheap. Explores his new bargain, finds barn full of cars. Totally believeable.

And most of those cars look to be in awesome shape, just dirty. Only a couple of them looked damaged beyond repair.

I'll take the porsche. thx.

Actually, I'd choose maybe 5 cars to keep and have an auction for the rest. use the auction money to fix up the barn and 5 cars, perhaps pay for the place.. and I'd have a nice garage and 5 cool little cars to play with.

Because If I kept them all, I would be turning wrenches and doing body work for the rest of my life.
