I have a 1994 del sol S model and i am looking for a cheap way to gain a little more horse power. I think the d15b will give me 130hp up from the 102hp that i have now. I want to know how difficult this swap will be and if i will need to get a new transmission. also the d15b is VTEC and the engine i currently have is not. what changes will i need to make because of this?

yes you can use your stock tranny and mounts all you need is a vtec ecu and run the wires for vtec and pressure switch,, super super easy swap just a few hours of work

im really inexperienced in this area and i was wondering what kind of ecu i would need and where i could go about finding one? ebay?

yes, pretty much a straight forward swap.. except a little bit of wiring.. tranny will work, but you'll suffer performance.. find a SI tranny
