I was running my b16 hatch in the rain with a cold air.. it started to rain out of no were. when i was driving the car it was acting weird.. got home didn't drive it for a while due to the rain and i didn't have the bypass for the cold air. i know there is fuel pumping, checked for spark, checked the main relay, and anything else that could be it. could it be that my injectors went bad because of the water?? could that happen??? or the water could have fucked something up in my manifold????

How much water are we talking about?

Check your plug wires and distributor for water, pull off the cap and dry it out, wipe down the rotor, etc.. Water (drops or moisture) in the manifold wouldnt be a problem. It would have to be a significant amount.

The car made it home, right? You shut it down, it didnt break down?

This is assuming the motor is turning over but not starting.. If the motor wont budge, you need to pull the plugs and check for water/moisture in the cylinders, and also check for water in the oil.

it dont start.. so i gotta rebuild.. ima just get another block. wat about the vtec head???

Actually, if you really hydro-locked it, the head might not be fine. That does some serious damage.

But the question remains... Does the engine turn over? And it sounds like you drove it home and turned it off. IF that is the case, its not hydrolocked. You just have some water where it doesnt belong. (see my last post).

Dont make some minor thing into a big nasty project.
