i was wondering being new to honda's if any body parts will swap to a crx from a civic hatch and the degree of difficulty of swaping a crx si engine into a hf
 
No body parts swap. You can bring over entire front sections from either, but hoods, bumpers,fenders - not compatible. (You have move the entire CRX front end to a Civic)

Moving the Si motor to the HF body is EASY. Plenty of tech articles here.

There are actually some other, cheaper and easier ways to get power out of the HF. the EF forums shows us how

Loads of info up here. Go back to the main page (hondaswap.com) and you'll see the technical areas, and some tech arranged by Chassis code. I believe you want to go EF to EF .
 
That sounds easy. I think the 1.5 roller motor is capable of doing neat things.
 
while searching i found a b16 CRX for 1500... hmmm.. i do want another CRX
damn, i would probably buy that if i found one. that would be a fun car. add a home made turbo for $1000 and that would be a fun ass car.

:eek: what???? and why not, yeay I got a B18 now, but I was stuck on the 16's for quite a while. went from B16A2 to B16B back to the A2 then to the boosted B16B, back to another A2 then finally the C5
 
i'm sorry i have to do this... but... 'just shake your rump!' ok... anyway... welcome! :)

A B16 isn't THAT bad... but it's not that fast. ;) Once you get over that fact... you'll turbo it, or go bigger. It's cheap, it's not bad, and I can attest that it's reliable. Since I didn't have a lot of money, I did the swap to a B16, everyone hates on it, but to be honest, none of them come and race me. I want a bit more fun, so the turbo is going in. ;)
