considering on the Apex website -

NEW A'PEXi Exhaust Line up for the 06+ Honda Civic

i doubt it.

is the ricer revolution behind us, that would make three parts manufacturers in the last year

Didn't they try this last year as an April Fools prank?

i doubt comptech will be gettin out anytime soon. Apexi, i can see that. the only real popular products are their exhausts. Not their intakes, turbos, suspension, headers, etc. Unless they branch out to other makes/models besides imports, they could survive as an exhuast company. Maybe not at the capacity they are at now, but maybe if they downsize quite a bit.

i would imagine all the DIY tuning and the relative cheapness of other tuning systems is killing the sale of apexi's safc and vafc

I know a good bit of people running their AVC-Rs even I had one.

wow i cant image those companies going under. didnt comptech practically invent nsx modding here?

and apex-i may not be popular here, but i think in japan they are. theyve also been successful at jgtc and d1 grad prix. i remember theyre piggy backs and vtec hacks were all the craze 5-6 yrs ago.

i guess racing success doesnt always mean financial success.

I'm guessing they split apex-i into two companies.
Its not uncommon for a business to do that when they go over seas.
If one company fails, they can close the doors and forget about it, with no worry about people (lenders) going after the other one.

cadbury is one company that comes to mind their euro company isn't apart of the US company. they even offer different products. the Euro company from what I understand sold off their drink line while the US one still has drpepper and all the ginger ale drinks.

fun stuff.

so while Apexi might go down in the US I'm guessing they're still going strong in the JDM market.

Apexi... Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I have the original *original* afc on my dash.
