Whats up,, i am a new to this,,,,and i am sure this question has been asked before,,,but i have a 91 accord 4 dr lx auto...i want to put a h22 in what will need to do exactly? thank you

It's pretty straight forward. You can get the complete swap(engine, trans, ecu) or just the engine and ecu. The H/F series blocks and trannies bolt up like stock. The F22 tranny in my opinion is better than the H series because it's built for the higher RPMs involved in highway driving so I would just get the long block and then upgrade to maybe a P30 and essentially "drop it in".

Huh? If you stick with the F22 auto trans/tcu, the trans won't take advantage of the higher redline of the H22. Either go manual or get the H22 a/t/tcu.

Thanks for the help!!! so if i swap in the h22/ecu/at ....will i need new cv shafts ,or can i keep my current shafts...thanks

If a/t you can use the Accord axles. If m/t I believe you need the Prelude half-shaft but the Accord axles will work.

i like the sound of H22 being dropped in 91 accord but why keep it A/T switching it to M/T sounds even better and also if i remember correctly the tranny can be bolted right in instead of the stock one, and besides minor suspension work... lemme know how that goes for you im curious to see the track time
