iROTORS any good?

Hello,

Has anyone used products from iROTORS before … Are they any good?

The reason I’m asking this is because there is a complete (4 drilled + slotted rotors, pads and stainless steel brake lines) package on ebay for under $400. The price is good … but that’s exactly what gets me worried.

Your opinion is much appreciated ^_^

SS lines, 100-150

pads, 50 bucks

i don't think you will need cross drilled AND slotted rotors. a lot of people use brembo blanks and run AutoX on them with no issues. if you get drilled and slotted rotors, you are actually decreasing your amount of pad contact area. i wouldn't waste my money on them.

plus i have never heard of that brand.

I've been using generic autozone rotors for $13 each for road racing for the past 5 years.

drilled = lower weight
slotted = old school leather pad scraping.

both are worthless in terms of stopping power.
it's the vent that keeps the brake cool.

Interesting ... I didn't know that. Any way, I didn't really feel a need for having drilled+slotted rotors ... it's just that the whole package for less than $400 sounded good at first glance. But, I guess I'll play it safe and stick to well known brands, all go with solid rotors and I want to give the EBC greenstuff a try.
