im lloking to build a rally car from a ford focus and wanted to do a swap...... Can u manage to get a h22a or a k20 into a 2000 - 01 ford focus......?

if not any suggestions

you may wanna try over at focusfanatics.com or focaljet.com for something like that. i own a Focus and i dont think they will fit. why not order the 2.3L DOHC race motor from Ford MotorSports? or hell, turbo the 2.0L DOHC in it

i could i could....... im just tryin to get a good car to do a little bit of rallying down at the local track and stumbled onto the focus....... will those engines work out well....?

go to your local Ford dealership and pick up their Ford Motorsports catalogue. its only like $5 but it has a whole section for the Focus including engines, suspension and body components in there. it will give you a good idea of stuff thats available for the Focus.

competition....... at a local track...... the comp races like civics and such.....

so yeah

For rallying the best mod to any car is driver with seat time. In an amateur rally that I entered the number one time was a 2.2 liter impreza (those things are painfully slow) and manage to pull exact same lap times. It beat out STi's, WRX's, Evo's, ect.

Yeah, see "Turbomirage beats cars with twice the hp at autocross"

Seat time is always key.
