my cars go fast

my car is a 95 hatch w/ d16z6. just got a cheap ebay turbo kit and am using a tial wastegate w/ .25 bar spring(3.5psi) for max adjustability. is 3.5psi is safe to run w/o fmu or e-management.. im just wonderin cuz i want to put it on now and run low boost b4 i get fuel enrichment

I dont recommend any boost without fuel enrichment. I would just wait and do it right. There is not reason to jepordize a good engine for nothing. Plus without proper fuel enrichment there will be minimal power gains. I would recommend getting some professional tunning using CROME or hondata since you already have a obd1 setup. That way you will get the most power and reliability for how much boost you are running. FMU suck balls I would never use one. So do piggyback computers such as a emanage and vafc.

I cant understand WTF this dude is saying

Buying everything to tune with Crome yourself, including a Wideband, will cost the same as a Emanage with the injector/ignition harnesses. Crome works excellent and is pretty easy to learn to use. If you have a common car and setup there's a million basemaps on pgmfi.org for you already to get you close.

up 1.0 bar boost is good......:)

The factory map sensor cant even read boost levels that high. It would definetly be choking and throwing CELS. I dont even think 14psi is a good idea on a factory bottom end, not that people dont do it all the time. You just have to weigh power/reliability. But if you are wanting to run boost that high make sure it is setup right. By that I mean a fuel pump, injectors, 3 bar map, and professional tunning to get it to run right.

...I dont even think 14psi is a good idea on a factory bottom end...
no...unless you want pieces of rod and piston in the oil pan... it would enevitably blow into a million pieces... literally.:D

Depends on the size of the turbo. I ran 17psi on the F series for awhile, it did brick after a bit but it also had 200K on it :)

look you f-ing nerds........i asked a simple question: can u run low boost w/ no fuel enrichment. NOT 1bar(14.7psi) I SAID 0.25bar(3.63psi). just answer the question. i dont care about crazy claims of 17 psi on a f series accord or tuning options with chrome or hondata or any of that other bull. all i wanted to know is can i bolt on a snail, regulate low boost and go. THATS IT!!! JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION

ps...................someone needs a girlfriend:(

Ban this asshole. He comes in asking for help, we give it, then we engage in a lil discussion about something and he bugs. :ban:
