i thought the other was funny.. i'm not a political person what-so-evar, so i dont really give a shit what anyone says

his comment wasn't in response to hers in any way, they're both isolated incidents so saying "he was just responding" isn't an applicable explanation

Bill Maher also said, on September 13th 2001, that we should stop calling the terrorists "cowards", that they did a brave thing and that it takes guts to stand up to the US with nothing more than rocks and tactics.

Cindy Sheehan was met with applause when she mentioned at a DNC sponsored anti-war rally that she "wishes she had a time machine, so she could go back in time and kill George Bush"

Hillary Clinton compared working as a senator to being a slave laborer in the deep south

All these people are crazy.

if I slaves earned a six figure income for life in exchange for four years of living in relative luxury and debating 30hrs/week then I would say she's right...

although I find it hard to draw many parallels

She did it in a Harlem church. Pandering.

So you watched that FOX interview too.

the only real point here was to post two threads, both with over the line statements, and see how this site reacts

and my hypothesis is correct

Ann Coulter is a whore, bitch, scum of the earth fro calling someone a faggot in jest, and Bill Maher is let off the hook for non-humorously suggesting that the VP should be killed to improve foreign policy.

I wanted to see what was bigger, the political bias, or the sense of right and wrong on this website

case closed, Hondaswap fails

PS: for the record I think both people people are lunatics

maybe because we couldn't actually careless about he said she said bullshit. That's all they were, statements and words, get over it.

Woops, actually it's probably not a response to it after looking at the date... the Maher episode was probably filmed before the Coulter thing even happened. :p

Silverowned :)

You're absolutely correct. Now I can't figure out if it's Hondaswap, and the younger public at large, hatred of Republicans (Those who think opposite of them) or their sublime hatred of Women.

Wow.

I'm incredibly conservative in personal value, but I believe the republicans are the essence of wrong today. Although I HATE H. Clinton with a passion and any FUNDAMENTALIST EXTREMIST OUT THERE. I'm all about middle ground.

McCain style politics FTW. Give and take.

this is the direction of the ebb and flow of the elections. All Presidents in their life were really pretty conservative save for a handful. Regan was the first President who'd ever had a divorce and that was only 30 years ago.

Giuliani (who I think represents our best chance at a decent president in 08), is pro choice, pro gay union, and pro gun control (although he has said his previous stance on this was based on being the mayor of NY and that the same ideas wouldn't apply on a national level.

The fact of the matter is this man is moderate and his politics work. Spending went down, crime went through the floor, hell he even reunited one of the most asshole like cities in the world during his tenure in NY.

and he's good under pressure, compare him during 911 to Mayor Regan during Katrina and you'll see just how brightly he shines during crisis.

Crime in NY went down when he kicked adult oriented businesses out and sold Times Square to Disney.

Make no mistake, Rudy is no friend to conservatives. His anti-gun plans won't be applied to the national level - but he has yet to say what his national gun plan is. I'm more akin to believe it's a complete ban.

Also his pro-gay, pro-abortion views aren't good. Remember, we have a two party system for a reason. And his seemingly Liberal stances do even WORSE things to the liberal party than the conservative. Now Libs will vote for him, and he'll be open to change his stance at will.

This is why Libertarians and Nader and the like aren't safe as presidents either. They can change their stance on a whim. When Greens and Libertarians get their shit together, then you'll see more and more presidencies.

the pro gay stance bothers me more then the pro choice thing

we lose to much ground trying to fight that. Regardless of what my personal views are it's cold hard fact that abortion WILL NEVER be re-illegalised
