Well, it's my first "new career purchase". I got a killer deal on it. It's a 2007 R6. Candy Red. I drove 384 miles roundtrip saturday. I went down to oregon to get it. The drive was worth it. I saved over $2000.

MSRP=$9399+shipping+tax+setup=$11,500 otd in washington.

I paid=$8900+$168 to license it at my moms house in oregon where i spend 6 months of the year. ^_^

total Spent=$9068+35% off my arai helmet.

So it was raining like a bitch on saturday and i didn't get to ride it. But between yesterday and after work I have gotten 125 miles out of it. The exhaust sounds phenomenal. It has a killer power band. It handles flawless. My only complaint is that it needs a fender eliminator and the seat is kinda hard. One of the best bikes i've ever been on. :thumbsup:

sweet. i'm down. i plan on attending a bunch of track days to.

be sure to wear all the fresh rubber off before hitting the turns at any significant speed

Very nice bike, I'm one of the few that hates the exhaust as with the new GSX-R1000 exhaust, high mount or under tail exhaust FTW!!!!!

either way it's still a kick as bike and should be fun. You just need to get rid of those chicken strips. Get that bike over!!!!

I just did the oil on mine put a new battery in it and need to replace my front tire.
I missed riding!
