God of War is IMO one of the better games ever made.
worth picking up GOW 1 for the PS2.
beat gow1 already. wasnt impressed.

There was a reason why it won so many awards. If you didn't like it, you don't like action games.
im more into RPGs and strategy games. not kill em and grill em games 
There you go- it's not your type of game. If you like action games, then you LOVE God of War.
i atleast gave it a good shot though, and returned it to EB games shortly after.
Based on the X-Play review that I DVRd from last night, it looks totally badass! Supposedly a significant improvement over the first game...

I would get it but I'm worried if I buy an Xbox 360 and Gears of war, I'll get the 3 red lights from hell on my box and have to deal with microsofts customer support.play gears of war

I bought my 360 last march... .had the red lights in may, they shipped a box to me, i shipped it back, and got it back in 4 days. So total... 5 day wait. So it wasn't too bad, and I haven't had a problem since. 360 pummels the ps3 for many reasons. I know you have the ps3 Jeff, but you know the problems it has as of now.
