Pics of engine bay was going to buy new cam cover but £179 Ive got better things to spend that type of cash on so I opted for the cheaper option of painting the cover for now.

So I finaly got to take it out for a test drive for the first time since I did the swap 6 months later (I work away alot!) all I can say is OMG what a difference from when the engine was in my 4 door vti. I think the Manifold and full exhaust and decat pipe has made all the difference.
Well thats it so far will take more pics as I go on.

Still to come
Respray
Mirrors
Colour coding
Carbon Fibre Bonnet and Boot
Wheel refurb and new tyres
New windscreen
Glass sunroof

is that your gf in the red?

No way man thats my next door neighbor I did'nt even know she was stood there when I took the pic. She hates me and my wife neways, coz I got a fairly loud sound system for my tv loads of bass and that ya know and the walls are quite thin she is always knocking on our door askin us to turn it down but my wife bores her off big style. And now my civic runs thats even more noise we must be the neighbors from hell. Ah well we is moving soon!!

nice car. now wash it.

You probably cant tell from the pics very well but the body has faded pink from the sun(dont know how living in the uk where it rains all the time but hey) So Im not gonna roll in it until I get my respray and the wheels have loads of surface corrosion so I need these refurbed big style.

Finally got round to putting the VTI Dials in
Need a new steering wheel methinks.

Very nice. But do get some mesh or something for your front bumber. a bounced rock could make for a very bad day with it open like that.

Is this a track car?

Yeah I know what you mean I intend to cut the two smaller vents out and mesh all of them luckely im not driving it on road yet so its not an issue but I want to get it painted before I start meshing.

Its a fun Car!

Rite bit of an update finally got my D2s so it was time to fit them and my Blox LCAs and trailing arm bushes.
DSCF0114.jpg

I think I was a little naive to think I would of been able to get my old LCAs off with little difficulty but hey I like wishful thinking. Oh and and I did'nt have a grinder or new bolts so after about 2 hours of messing about trying to get them out I decided I was never going to get it off without a grinder so a trip into town and I bagged myself a nice little grinder and some new bolts.
This is whats left of the bolts stuck in the LCA
DSCF0118.jpg

And finally fitted had to put the trailing arm bushes on hold for now coz time was pressing on

Slammed wish I could of left it like that but our roads just aint good enough and there are loads of speedbumps near me too still the ride quality is a massive improvement over those ebay dodgy things.

I would get either original bolts for the suspension on the rear or something stronger. Those generic bolts you used dont look strong enough for the movement and abuse the suspension will take. Thats my opinion anyways. And good job on the valve cover!

Thanks for the suggestion but the bolts I am using are a better fit and are alot stronger than the OEM ones and they are like 4 times cheaper. I know lots of people that have been running these for years. Thanks for the comment on the valve cover I was pretty pleased with it but im getting other ideas now seen alot of people using wrinkle paint and they seem to get better results and a darker red too(im forever changing my mind after ive done something).
