thanks, thats all i was wondering.. and i'm taking it the fill hole is the one above it...

Yup, get a funnel and a section of hose. Fill til it starts leaking back out of the hole and cap it off. fluid level should be exactly even with the bottom of the fill hole.

well, i tried and i tried .. but i could not get that sonofabitch loose.. it would be alot easier if it was on a lift..

stick the racthet on there and bang it with a hammer...it'll come loose lol oh and when you tighten it back, don't put it back that tight, it just needs to be snug like your oil drain plug.

i tried banging it with a hammer.. i pounded the shit out of it, nothing.. i wasnt the last person to change my tranny fluid.. the shop was..

thinking about going back out into the garage and give it another go.. and put a little more effort into getting the bastard off

If you must go the "unsafe" route- throw a long piece of skinny pipe on your ratchet and give it hell. It'll get much easier after you've done it one time. At least yours is only the standard 3/8" plug- mine on the diff are 23mm and 24mm. Talk about a huge plug and needing a lot of torque to break them loose.

well, i got the little fucker out.. now the fill bolt is giving me shit and its ever harder to get to.. uuhhgg

well, i got it out.. hehe.. i used a big ass wrench as a breaker bar.. i didnt have a bar to use

why is that?? it still drained

You take the fill bolt out first just in case you can't get it loose- it sucks to drain the transmission and then not be able to fill it back up again. ;)
