Whats up fellas. Its been a while but im back and have a question for you guys. Im just about sick and tired of my ls tranny and anyone who has one without a turbo motor knows exactly what im talking about. I havnt been able to find a good cheap gsr or b16 tranny yet. I have found a gsr tranny with a cracked case that I can pick up for like 50 bucks. I need to know if gsr tranny internals will fit into my ls case. Please reply back soon.

Im pretty sure they do. But for $50 bucks thats a steal, even if you had to buy a new case they are only a couple hundred bucks. That said it would still be cheaper then finding a straight used one.
 
Hell i didnt think of it before, but if you sell that ls transmission you would have more then enough money to buy a new gsr case. Thats what i would do.
 
Alot of people, especially those running alot of boost. I sold my friend the b16 tranny I had in my si for a LS. Its alot different when you are all motor and making less then 200 to the wheels then pushing over 300 like me!
 
Its also nice to be able to go on the interstate and hold 80mph without being over or at 4000 rpm like my b16 tranny used to.
 
Its a great plan, and you can toss in some new synchros while you're in there, have a nice, fresh gsr transmission for sub $200. (assuming you use the LS case)
