I'm new to this forum and i'm just trying to get some help. I am a two car motor swap, one is a 91 integra, and the other one is a 94 integra. I taking my motor out and putting it into the 91 integra, but my motor from the 94 is a B18A1. And in the 94 i'm putting a 99 LS motor (B18B). Since the motor is OBD2 do i have to change the sensors and the dizzy in order to make it work in my car??? and for the 91 integra do i also have to do that? since i heard it was a OBD0, any help would greatly be appreciated, SWAP PICS WILL BE POSTED!!

I could swear that the 94 is still obd2. I have the 95 and mine is. They switched from obd1 to ob92 in 94 when the totally re-designed the car.

No, I have a 95 and its obd2. B18b same as the 94 except i got my motor from japan and its usually a b18b1.

Why is it that everyone ive talked to says its obd2 and why is it that when you buy motors and shit it says its the same from like 94 to 2001 or something like that. If thats not true then you would have to do an obd conversion.

body style is the same 94-01.. Honda/ Acura cars made from 88-91are obd0, 92-95 are obd1.. 96-98 are obd2a.. 99-01 are obd2b.. anything before was pre-obd

No, what im saying is that when i went to buy my motor they said you can get any b18b from any 94 to 2001 integra. If this were true then 94 and above would have to be obd2. If my car were a 95 and an 0bd1 then if I were to get a motor from a 96 it wouldnt hook right up because obd differences.

honestly there is no reason to argue here, i'm just trying to find out what i need to do for the 91 swap, just change over the sensors?? or what? can anyone help me on this one?

For the first swap i guess your good but the other your going to need to do an obd conversion. Not trying to fight on your thread just trying to get things straight.

Hold on, i'm really not that much of a newb on working on cars, why do i need a new harness when i'm still going to use the Obd0 ecu??? i'm still using the same wiring and everything, i'm not trying to talk shit or anything but one dude i saying his 95 integra is OBD2 and other are telling me conversion harnesses, i have a OBD0 ecu and a OBD1, i'm changing the OBD1 motor into a OBD0 ok? the the OBD2 motor Into OBD1, only sensors and dizzy need to be change in order wire the engine harness to work. i don't know what kind of people are on this forum but you guys are just too confusing.
