has anyone seen them around yet?? i saw my first one today.. it look pretty good in person.. he was turning the same way i was from the opposite direction and i got caught at the light, but i was gonna go catch up and snap a pic .. didnt see him anywhere

ive never had more fun in anything. i <3 evos. id probably never own one (at least not as a DD), but i still love them.

the new ones look hawt, but i havent gotten to drive it yet. dont have anymore contacts at mitsubishi....so im kinda hosed on those test drives. still have my maserati contacts though :)

really? what is it softer or something? i loved the 8 MR i drove. took a turn at 60MPH that my prelude HAS to do at 30. Thing felt solid and was hella fun to drive. The STi coulda done the same thing, it just feels....numb.

oh well. part of me is glad im out of the car business, but i wanna still drive the new shit, and now i feel like im being left out :( Ahh how i long for the days that i could say "Ive driven it and its crap" to almost every car. Im gonna make a friend at a mitsu dealer. now im freakin curious about that evo 9. thanks a lot eg6 :p

i know too many people who wrecked their evo 8...lol...i think those are cursed...hahaha...i wonder if the evo 9 carries the curse as well...hmmm...lol

usually because the people that buy think its the end all / be all of cars. They think a hairpin turn can be taken at 80mph. That or they just bought too much car.

that is the bad thing about the evo 8. it feels very solid like you can take any turn at any speed. it feels good going into the turn and then the cars like.....NOPE IM DONE and your into a guard rail.

my problem is the car feels like a fucking tin can with sticky tires and good suspension.

im getting older. i want some luxury, but with the same capabilities.

thats why i would never have one as a DD.

Not going to find the 'same' capabilities in another car with that same price tag.

Tack on $20,000-$30,000 and you'll start to find other cars that can compete in most areas of capabilities and also provide some sense of luxury.

Otherwise, you're just pipe dreaming.

The STi took a shot at cornering this market by bringing out the Limited.

same capabilities... four doors... awd.. hmmmm

s4. nope, thats out. mazdaspee... wait no. porsche.. oh wait 4 doors... hmmmm amg.. nope, not awd..

yeah, good luck with that.

i just saw the regular Lancer.. i barely caught a glimpse of it as it was turning and i saw the front end and recognized it from the concept pics.. so i assumed it was the new Evo
