ok i have a eg civic and i want to build a homeade turbo kit for it. i am on a very tight budget. i know how to basically put the turbo kit and everything on im just worried about engine management. i dont really know of any tune shops near where i live so iv heard that u can get an apexi safc2 and tune it urself. i dont really want to spend more than 1000 and thats pushing it. i just want to push out anywhere around 200 horspower out of my stock d16. what is safest and easiest yet cheapest way to tune my car.

actually with hondas and a junkyard setup you can have all 3 :p

id recommend uberdata. prolly the cheapest tuner program.

yeh, I am sure that the shops near you know of someone who tunes using one of the grassroots programs (i.e. Uberdata, Chrome, Turbo edit, some amalgamation of their own) some many peoplea re tuning there hondas this way you just have to find out who. There may even be someone that knows how to street tune your carin you area that would be willing to chip your ecu for relatively cheap compared to your $1000 budget. just dig around a little. check out Homemadeturbo.com too

I'd count going with uberdata and tuning it yourself as partly removing the "easy" bit- especially adding in fabbing up your own turbo setup and procuring free dyno time. :)

I know, but those were the 3 things he listed, I just let him know he's not gonna get all 3.
