I went down to Arizona in December. It was my second time there. The first time i was in tucson for 3 weeks. The last time was on a 4 day, weekend of debauchery with some friends from high school. Right now i live in washington state and work in Seattle. I make $70k a year. But I'm going crazy here.. I will work in an office so the heat wont be an issue.

Reasons to Stay:
I have a decent Job
I have a 13 year old sister 2 hours away
i like snowboarding

Reasons to move:
I hate the rain. I want to ride my motorcycle year around, golf, do outdoors shit i can't do here.
Housing is extremely cheap there.
The women are amazing there. i'm a man whore and love the blonde hair white girls.
I can get a job just as good in phoenix.
it would be a fresh start and get away from all the bullshit and drama i have had here. (not running from problems, fresh starts are nice though)
housing...3 bed 2 bath in Surprise with Pool
this is just what i found on a quick search.
the traffic and commuting sucks ass here.

I would move down there and work for a year or so and probably go back to school to get my M.B.A. I'm single. I don't have any kids. no other obligation. I would probably move in december though after the summer here. so in like 6 months or so i would move after i saved up a bunch of money.

what do you guys think???

Some of the same reasons I'm moving back to NY from NC. And busy traffic does suck, its hard to open up the car when there is a daily traffic jam on every road.
Go for it man!

i <3 arizona.. oh, wait.. i was born and raised here :)

tucson is 5-10 degree's cooler then phoenix is in the summer, less humid, and we get a little more rain down here, but not much more.

surprise is on the far west side of phx, so if you work anywhere near down town, you'll have one hell of a commute if you buy in surprise.

I've never been to the AZ. I love the seattle.

I recently went to cali, and I'd rather be here than cali anyday. It's bad weather. Horrible traffic. But you can't get enough evergreen trees.

You would pick Az over Wa ?!!? I guess you deserve the state. From all acounts, I've heard Arizona is a complete shit hole. If you like outdoors shit, move to Colorado. I would much rather live there than Arizona...but then again, I think Washington is probably my #1 pick for states to live in, I was originally from there so I'm biased.

I was born in washington to. then i traveled around the U.S. a lot in the air force. i'm just tired of the rain. it's depressing.
move east y0
meet me in AZ. haha. CT weather is worse than washington.

suprise is nice, but it's a bit of a drive to tucson. U of A and ASU are both driving distance. Commuter traffic in phoenix area is horrible though. Over all not a bad area to live. If you can head to Phoenix area in summer you gotta float the salt river. Bring lots of beer, sunscreen and shoes you can wear in the water. Dont forget Mill Ave.

i wasn't look at surprise specifically. that was just a quick search of "Phoenix" on craigslist. that type of house goes for $350k here in washington.
