you know it took 6+ years but the President is starting to "get" the personality side of PR. I've watched some of his media appearances lately and he almost appears, dare I say it, likeable

The Senate just passed that bill we had a poll on this morning, Bush will veto it. It will be interesting to see if the Dem's refuse to fund the war without a calendar for retrea- I mean "redeployment". As much as the public has issues with the way we went to war in 2003 I don't think they want this either and I'm willing to speculate at years end Bush support and war support will actually be on a small uptrend.
 
Last year's radio party was FUNNY. I listened to it on XM on the way home from Turbomirages.
 
He actually looks like HE is enjoying himself. Making for a better 'speech' (for lack of a better word. He is 'talking' and using a more smooth inflection and tone, making his flow a lot better while he talks. I must say that if he had time to 'practice' he might hear himself speak first. This time he's actually speaking as if he knows how it hears. It's not monotonous and linear. I'm actually impressed.

Hell, last time I heard one of his 'jokes' he sounded like he didn't get it... like the jokes to him weren't jokes, they were... part of the facts. He looked confused. Now, he looks like he's present. He's not just standing and orating.
