The Riced Sleeper
After 7 years of Sprint service I've not once had a problem with them except for 2 times that I was deployed and they didn't suspend my service like I asked but they fixed it each time I got back so I didn't have to pay anything. Anyway's I woke up to a text from them today saying I was nearig my spending limit but didn't worry about it till I got to work and decided to check my account and saw my bill was $270, so I decided to check the charges by lines. Got to the other usage part of the bill and was like what the fuck. unlimited text, used 2,889, additional text messages used 589 charged $84.15. So I called them and I say, "why am I being charged for additional text if I' have umlimited text on all lines on my account"? Turns out the last time I called them on the 6th to take off the phone as modem option off of my account the numnutt that helped also took off my unlimited text option which I was only paying $5.00 for.

Also had the nerve to put in the notes that I requested to have it removed. So the guy that was helping me today, keot saying that I removed it. So I'm like ok look at this. I've been with ya'll for x amount of years if you check my account you'll see I've had unlimited text since spint has offered it, if you look at my account you'll also notice that each month I use anywhere from 2000-6000 text, so why the hell would I be stupid enough to remove a feature where I only pay $5.00 when one, I use so many text, and 2 other customers have to pay $15.00 for it now. So after about 45 minutes of him back and forth talking to his supe. they finally agreed to credit me back the $90, but wanted to add the unlimited text for $15.00. Whick sparked off another debate. I told him I don't see why I should have to pay $15.00 per line which would total $45.00 a month just for text when it wasn't my fault cause I didn't tell them to remove that option. The best he could do was charge me $10.00 cause the option I had for $5.00, the code was 4 years old and they were no longer using it. So I settled for that cause 1 I was at work and kinda busy and 2, I felt kinda bad having to keep arguing with the guy when it wasn't his fault what happened and was doing the best he could. Customer Service jobs suck when you have to take shit for other workers errors.

6000 text messages? your crazy. email is your friend. If not pick up the phone and call them.
Half of those are emails, at least email alerts. I have it to where I'll get a text from each of my email accounts whenever there's a new email to alert me that there's a new email, and then sometimes I'll email people via text.

you know you could have them pull up your first phone call to prove you never had that take off. they always record the call for training. have them pull up the call and have them prove that you had that feature take off...

I don't really like talking on the phone, text is so much more convienient, just type out what I gotta say and continue what I was doing.
I agree I hate picking up my phone, that's why when I get to work I put my phone away and never bother checking it till I leave. I don't even have internet access at work. If someone dies or something major happens call me at work, but if not, it can wait.

In fact even if I had full txt support with a blackberry, full internet access, and so on, I'd still wouldn't have enough time to send anything. Once I get to work I'm working till I leave.

P.S if I was in your shoes I would have told them that you've been there for 7 years and it was a nice 7 years. then tell them to disconnect you since you're going to go else where.

i received a bill from verizon for 1200 texts to and from TURKEY!

that was a rediculously high bill.

Yea when I told them that that's when they decided to credit my account

I had a problem with my water company and got frusterated. being a water co i didn't have the option of spending my money elseware. so after getting the runaround from them for and hour and a half on the phone I started researching online what options i had. that's where i found on my states website a link to the state attorneys generals office and on that page an online form to file a complaint against a company, wich i did. I was amazed at how helpfull the water company became after they were contacted by the attorney generals office. maybe your states attornye general could do somthing similar for you

thats fucked up, i wouldn't have settled
tell them to fix THEIR mistake
