Quick noob question

I searched around but couldn't quite find my answer. I've got a b16a2 and just wanted to confirm that I could put a set of GSR cams in it. Also, what is a good price for a set of used ones? And what kind of performance gain could I expect out of them? Thanks!

Any dohc vtec b series cams are interchangeable. But when running anything more aggressive then a gsr cam it would be necessary to upgrade your springs and retainers. If you are going to stick with gsr cams you will definetly be ok there. They usually go anywhere from 50-150 bucks in good condition. You can expect maybe a 7 to 8 horsepower gain at the most without any tuning. Good luck.

so which year Accord has a b-series?? as far as i know the 88-91 Preludes had the only b-series that wasnt compatible with other B's

yup there sure is im a honda god lol...but anyways the b20 accord was in the jdm 1986-1989 accords, 160hp

Yeah but I said dohc with vtec. The b20 is not equipped with vtec, unless you bolt on a vtec head.
