i have no idea if it can be done or if it is really hard and expensive...i just know that my engine(k20) is only 160 hp stock,(not enough)
the oydessy is 244 stock and 6 cylinder...would it fit?
about how much would this cost if it can be done?
ever heard of this swap before?
i hope it's possible....the whole thing is...when i get around to the day when i can either turbo my motor i already have or swap the 6cylinder in my baby.....i want to have 300-400 horse power with no boost...just turbo.
would i be better off just adding turbo to my k20???
i really need help..links,places to buy quality brands cheap and advice on clutch, suspension, brakes and best way to get more power from this civic ...i love the car and want it to freak people out when they challenge me!!!
thanks,
marc

It'll be much easier to turbo your K20 for that same amount of power. If you wanted more displacement, you could always go for a K24 build with an A2 head, then turobcharge that.

 I didnt think anyone would ever ponder that one up. . .

300-400 hp with no boost, just a turbo? you mean like one of those cyclone things or you gonna put like 12 of them in a line?

have you ever driven a 300hp car? you should seriously consider the ramifications other than having an extremely fast car with high horsepower. these are things you should consider.

1)you will have to upgrade your suspension. you dont' want to be out of control when you are driving this thing. you will enter and exit corners faster and you will attain higher speeds. a cheap suspension will actually hurt drivability.
2)you will need a brake upgrade. when you go fast you will need to stop. it's common sense.
3)you will sacrifice reliability. do you have the money to rebuild the block if it blows? do you know how to do all of the labor yourself?

by the sound of your thread, you sound inexperienced with cars. i know how it is to dream and have goals, but you need to be realistic. having a 400hp car is like getting on a 1300cc hayabusa as your first bike. you might know how to ride a 125 dirtbike, but when you make a performance jump like that, you are asking for trouble.

HAHAHA, but i guess if you can put a V8 in a civic you can def. do that, but major modification is needed.

Which k20 did you get, most of those motors are rated at like 200 at least, if i remember correctly. There is no way that the itr would put out more power stock for stock. AS far as power it goes like s2k at like 240 then the rsx at 200. Well then theres the nsx but were not going there.

You have never heard of the no boost turbo, geeeeez, were have you guys been:)
