That's one way to get bald... oh fuck it nevermind
not these days. girls are maturing faster than ever. then again, when i was in 5th grade i wasn't thinking about pussy. i was playing little league and my sega.

I blame parents. Seriously. Have you noticed the world turned to shit when they said 'you can't hit your kids anymore?' If I EVER disrespected my parents or did something stupid, I knew I was going to get smacked. Not in the face, but, it kept me from doing stupid shit. Now, this is just rediculous. Parents not setting proper boundaries (and keeping them enforced) is always part if not all of the problem.

I see this as a glimmer of hope in a world that has gone to pussy ass kids sitting in front of Halo 2. But I guess that's just me.

Yeah, cuz it's sooo much better to have kids that are sexual deviants, probably future rapists, than kids who like video games. WTF man, this is fucked up.

That's not what I meant. It's closer to normal behavior (5th grade is when I noticed the opposite sex) then running home, locking your door, and not pressing pause unless you have to eat or shit.

This is not normal behavior. 5th graders should start to notice the other sex, not start up an orgy when the teacher leaves. Whichever kid started this needs a serious psychiatric evaluation, as they were probably sexually abused.

I do not strike my children, nor does my wife. There is no need. I have a 3 year old who is perfectly behaved. My 2 year old.. well, we're working on him still. He is a boy, through and through. But time out is much worse than a spanking. And, imho, much more effective.

My parents ruled the roost through respect. I was more hurt by my dad being disappointed in me than being spanked or beatin. But really parents now a days are trying way to hard to be the "cool" parents IE: Friends rather than role models and hard asses. I am not saying rule with an iron fist but set bounders and limits and ENFORCE them. That kid needs to get help while he is young and follow through on it for quit awhile I would imagine.

Ok, I wasn't 'beaten' but I'm just making a point. I learned with my kids that time out works well too, but sometimes... you have to keep your spot as the Alpha. Hell, the only time I did anything in the classroom remotely close to that I was in 8th grade and this girl Annie Ting (yes, that's her name) was sucking on my neck and the teacher asked if she was a vampire. Best hickey ever.
