I LOVE that clip!

However, thats actually from last year's national championship game. I watch that when I get sad.

nasty dunk. But its not too hard to dunk on someone when they arent even facing you. Nothing that hasnt been done before... Stop being bitter.

that dunk was no where near the level of vince carter. That's a slap in vince's face if you ask me... this guys is 7 foot + and this guy was facing him... YouTube - Vince Carter - Best Dunk Ever

People can watch that dunk all they want but it'll never make the NCAA title change hands:p

i will admit, that is the greatest game dunk of all time. but this guy was in college when he did it.

i was reading about that vince carter dunk. i guess the play before that he dunked on some "normal" size guy. somebody from the crowd taunted him by saying, "dunk on someone your own size". the next time down he tea bagged a guy that is 7'2".

and i said those are vince carter like hops, not that he could hold up anywhere near vince's talent. vince is one of my top 3 all time players. i even had a vince carter jersey back when he played for the raptors. i've been watching him since the mcdonalds all american game. i'm not a bandwagon fan like a lot of people.

same thing goes for me when it comes to Kobe. When I was 12, I saw one of Jason Kidd's games when he was playing for California and I was like damn, this guys is bad ass. So his first year with Dallas i was diggin' his game big time because I was just like him, I liked to dish the ball magic johnson style but unlike Kidd, I had a nice jumper :D:D (shameless plug) anyway, that off-season they showed something on this kid from Lower Merion(sp?) High School. I was like, damn, this fool is bad ass. So like little kids always do, I switched from Jason Kidd being my favorite player to Kobe being my favorite player... and this was before Kobe got drafted!! We didn't have cable back then so I never got to watch the draft. So on the way to school one morning my grandma had the radio on and it was talking about Kobe being drafted by the Charlotte Hornets (in my mind "NOOOO!!!!") then he was traded to, of all teams, my team :D the Lakers!! (my mind switched from NOOO, to HELL YEAH!!!!) then they(the guys on the radio) started going on about how they made a bad move since they traded away Vlade Divac who was their starting center. i didn't care, I still liked Kobe. Then it worked out even better because they signed Shaq and i knew some rings were coming very soon :D:D:D ah, the memories....

Kobe for Divac.... trade of the fucking milleniu...no.. centruy? no.. all fucking time.
for basketball maybe. but not of all time.

i dont' know if anybody remember a guy named brett favre was traded for a first round draft pick inm 1992. i think that is the biggest trade of all time.

I don't know... farve didn't win 3 rings. Although it is very hard to win the superbowl, I still think 3 NBA rings back to back to back is better than what brett farve has done.

well, kobe had shaq and pat riley. favre did it all on his own. favre has 3 mvps also. plus he has the most incredible consecutive games streak.

yeah, i meant basketball. Its hard to compare two players from different sports.

If kobe can lead his team to the playoffs and win without someone like shaq then it might be a different story. Well, thats pretty tough since one player CANNOT make a team in basketball... michael jordan included. (flamesuit just incase) You always need 1 or 2 guys to support the team.

Now i know its streetball.. but look up The Air Up There.... he has some shit on youtube, mostly his 720 dunk. But this guy is crazy if you've ever caught him on the and1 tour on espn. Oh and he is only 6'2. YouTube - air up there peep the dunk at 0:58.

I wish i was tall enough and had the legs to dunk... ill stick to making it rain from beyond the arch. fear the tray!!!!

I remember seeing that dunk for the first time, me and my homies went nutts. IMO, he more or so has hang time rather than hops. Kinda like how Jordan had hang time but Dominique would out sky him any day.

Did you see this year's slam dunk contest and see dwight howard put that sticker on the backboard? That shit was like 4 inches from being at the top... he's like 6'11" though so it's not as impressive as it would have been if someone, say 6'6" or smaller, would have done it. YouTube - Dwight Howard Kiss The Rim Dunk

yeah, i was really impressed by the dunk contest this year. Last years sucked ass big time, took everyone like 32487203 attempts to make a fuckin dunk..

Well it looks like coach Donovan is going to stay in Florida... but the players arent. All the juniors (noah, green, horford, brewer) are leaving... i really wished they would have stayed to see if they could win it 3 times. I bet they could too, nobody came close to beating them in the tournament, nobody.

......fear Georgetown (that is if hibbert and green come back...)

back to dunks... anyone see that SICK windmill Lebron did a couple nights ago.. ill see if i can find a link..
