dear fellow integra friends,

i have a question .
Recently somebody stole my 95 integra gs-r 4 door.. they stripped it.. took the bumper hood reinforcement gauge cluster shifter and linkage and of course the b18a with tranny wiring harness and ecu the car was pretty much stock.. but theres an integra fever over in orlando..a lot of stolen tegs , it sucks..

now i found myself a 4th generation civic coupe with a complete b16a swap and type r tranny.. now i bought the civic to throw everything back into my 4 door the question i have is can i use the b16a ecu and wiring harness its obd2, will the gauges and everything work correctly? what shift linkage cv joints and motor mounts do i use? if anybody has a any comments or knows what to do please let me know..

i know using a b16a into a dc integra isnt the same as having b18c but its a start.. thank you

Unfortunately the wiring harness will not work. You will need to track down another one for your integra of the same year. Once you get the right harness to make it plug and play you will need obd1 injectors, distributor, and alternator. You dont have to do this if you have the ability to swap out the plugs for the obd2 ones. The shift linkage and cv shafts will work. You will need mounts for a integra however. You will also need to locate a p30 obd1 ecu, if you dont have the ability to chip a p28 with a b16 map. Follow these instructions and all gauges and everything will work. You definetly want to keep this car obd1 for many reasons so follow my advice! ;)

After you get the car up and running, mount a hidden kill switch in some crazy spot on your car. Wire to either kill the fuel supply or ignition. This will help make sure it doesnt happen again.

boostin thanx for the info.. i appreciate it but basically youre saying i need to use a dc obd1 wiring harness with obd1 injectors, dizzy and alternator, but then you say if i have the obd1 plugs for the injectors altenator and dizzy i can use the b16a harness?? sorry im a little confused bro.. i know i need the integra mounts, and i know youre definetly right about staying obd1 but i just wanna do the easiest thing im not even worried about the performance factor..

What I meant was if you didnt get the obd1 injectors, dizzy, and alternator you could use the obd2 stuff that you have you would just need to cut and solder in the obd2 plugs from the b16 harness to your obd1 harness to make it work. But the easiest thing to do would get all obd1 stuff so it is plug and play, that is what i would do.

ok but just answer this question for me.. my 95 gsr doesnt have a wiring harness or an ecu anymoreas of now since the theft because they took everything.. so why couldnt i use the b16a ecu and harness? thats what i dont understand... how come the harness wouldnt work.. if im basically doing everything all over again.. sorry to sound like im bothering you with this over and over.. i just want this to come out good...

because where the harness plugs in under the hood is completly differernt. That b16 harness is not going to work no matter what the hell do to it. It is only good for plugs should you decide not to buy the obd1 shit that I told you to get. You need to get another harness for an integra of the same year period!
