D16A3 pistons into D16A6

I was told that I can throw the integra pistons out of a 88-89 (d16a3) and into a d16a6. I'm not sure if I have to bore the cylinders at all, im assuming I will?. but thats not a problem. Gotta get block rebuilt anyway.
and with these integra pistons, I can get 12:5 to 1 compression?

so as I see, these will go in. If i Bore the block at all, I gotta get p29 pistons too match it. And running octane 93 I will hit around 12:5 to 1.
This will rock hard in my bandit car! now i just gotta get block done.

PM7 or P29 pistons in a D16A6 will give you about 10.8:1 compression ratio

When I calculate, I get 11.34.... I'm assuming i will be around 12 after block is rebuilt.

I will be running a d15 (91) block with a d16 head on it for now.

D15 block crank and rods with P29 pistons and D16A6 head will give you compression ratio of 9.48:1

I wont be running, p29's in my d15. I would get some to drop in but if i gotta bore the d16 block i got, (it needs to be rebuilt). Ill have to get p29's to fit the bore.

Will your compression be lower, if you run a stock headgasket for the a6.
This is for my bandit, will be running in second gear. The head I bought, I had it rebuilt and the guy said the head was already milled.
sohc zc cam, whats this out of?
and what would be the best cam to run?

alright. ya ill get a little more with the y8/z6 head gasket. I can get one fairly cheap off ebay.

I have no idea how much it was milled. But the guy just touched it up, and said he really didn't wanna touch it.

sorry it didnt specify weather or not it was dohc, it just said ZC. Well I'd like to get another cam. A JDM Sohc Zc cam. My hatch has a zc motor in it, maybe ill just take that cam out and get a new one for my hatch.
There is no other engine to run besides a B16a1. or a dohc zc.
2/4 tracks around my area have banned DOHC. (my track hasn't yet.)
DOHC 16v equals extra weight. and VTEC equals extra weight. if u run these they make u add extra weight.
vtec doesnt kick in till 4500. Its a waste.

If those ebay gaskets are junk. I will go spend an extra hundred and pick up some z6/y8 gaskets to raise the compression like u said.

Guy said I can bring the head in to get measured.

Well with the two major tracks banning them, it could mean that columbus will ban them also. But I don't Know well see.
If you want to spend the money go ahead for a more powerful engine. But spending that kind of money, you should move up.
Umm and with the tight turns on a quarter mile circle track, ur going to drop down into the low RPMs

so a d16z6 head gasket will go right on? Can I use a full gasket set for a d16z6? will everything mingle?

Well bandits only run 2nd gear, you wont come out of it.
My dad raced 9 years, so I don't think im too ignorant.

sorry I forgot to ask before but can i run a z6 head gasket, with my a6 head on a d15 block?

and a zc tranny with si final will be a faster accel then an si tranny? In second gear?

if i can stay in the powerband i will.
but no way im shifting down into 1st gear.

Best thing to do is burp before the apex and then hit it, so the car sits and holds to the bottom and ur not pushing up towards the wall or up into 2nd grove if someones on ur outside. and its always a plus getting them R's up asap!
Im a cautiously clean driver. I like to be clean.
and smooth is fast. just gotta work getting better on the smooth thing
