Is this a good price for a b18a1?

Hey guys, I have been looking into getinng an LS motor, but dont really know anything about it. So this guy on another forum is offering his b18a1 to me for 200 bucks. it includes intake mani, headers, but no tranny. the motor has 100k on it. my question is, is this a good deal/price for this motor? let me know, thanks guys :D

i got a complete swap for 800 smakers, motor ,ecu, axles, shift linkage, mount kit,
wire harness its the cheapest ' real complete swap" i ever paid for, so yea 200 clams is okay... but just remember the person seling it did the same thing your going to do....... beat the piss out of it...so be ready to spend money on upgrades
to keep it alive.......peace!

hehe awesome, thanks for the down-to-earth opinion. my buddy got a complete swap including tranny for 400, but i think that kind of a deal will ever come around for me, so i think ill jump on it :D
 
for 200 bucks, either he is just trying to get rid of it or it has some issues. maybe bad rings or something of that caliber.

yea, i talked to him some more. he seems a little iffy trying to raise the price up for no good reason, so i pulled out. i guess im gonna have to start shopping around again. if you know anyone with an ls motor/swap for sale, lemmie know! :D

i have an automatic ls so it isnt raced out just switch it to 5 speed, whats your location?
