how hard do you think i t would be to put a k20 i a 92 accord? how much mod?

not how much?

100% custom job and about 10 grand

alot more than 10 grand.. thats what it cost to drop into a civic.. the mounts would need to be custom made and if you cant do that yourself, its gonna get expensive.. and i'm sure the shifter would have to be relocated too.. soo not worth it

Supposedly Hasport was/is going to release a mount kit for K-series swaps into the 90-93 Accord. They already have a kit for the 94-97 chassis, although I don't know if they have actually released them yet.

So it may become easier at some point, but as far as right now, yeah, you'd spend a crapload of money on this swap.

Uh.. Isnt the k series engine mounted backwards compared to the h f series?

yes, k-series is mounted on the opposite side of the bay from the traditional mounting of the d/b/f/h. however, it's not "backwards." it's just finally mounting an engine logically on honda's part. it certainly makes more sense for performance purposes to have the hot exhaust in the back of the engine bay instead of in the front.

Oh, I definatly agree it makes more sense, but in terms of doing the swap it complicates things alot. I've always fancied the idea of swapping the 3.0 vtec from the new accord but the same rule applies as its "backwards" compared to our motors (among other huge problems).
