all motor
did a little re-search, wondering if this setup i put together would be ideal since i want way more than 180whp NA....

84mm bore x 95mm stroke via SCAT forged crankshaft
13.0:1 compression cp pistons
crower rods w/arp rod bolts
itr oil/water pumps
toda spec-c cams
jg victor-x IM
BBK 70mm throttle body
b16 head with port and polish
five angle valve job
manley valve-train
hytech header
tuned on crome

this setup should make A LOT of power. im thinking along the lines of 240-250whp on a dynojet.

i have seen many dyno graphs and i did much research. i am not new to this, been doing it for 6 years now. never built any motors and none of the na builds i have had made over 195whp except for one turbo build that made 550whp @ 22psi on a sleeved gs-r 84mm bore with stock stroke and itr cams. I make good money, the money is not an option. I want to build this street driven na setup (that has been done time and time again at ripp modified in ny) and make 250+whp. my engine builder is out of new jersey and has built 4 of my motors with my own parts list. they were impressive but mild to say the least. im in a heavier dc2 chassis now so its not as easy as it was for me when i had my eg hatch to run 12's on motor. i have seen so many ppl on these forums respond to everyday people looking for simple advice with nasty negative responses. just because YOU cannot afford or want to build an na setup doesnt mean you have to knock someone who does. ive been around some sick na setups especially up north on the east coast and ive raced many idrc events. oh and btw, the setup i put down above -^ = made 260whp on a dynojet in houston. and "slapping" those parts together is not building a motor. there has to be a specific amount of clearance from piston to valve or else ....well you should know. try to be a little more friendly with the people who post questions and maybe you will make more friends that way =) back to honda-tech, this board is full of ppl like yourself. =)

So, you basically don't know shit about engine building and act like a fucktard? Oh, but you make more money than me so I'm must obviously be jealous? Dude, fuck you. I have a great idea, why don't you tell your build what you want and let him do his job. I guarantee you'll make more power for less money. When you build your own engine, you can talk shit to me. People like you are the defintion of "a fool and his money are soon parted". :D

This board is full of people who actually know what they're talking about and don't spoon feed n00bs with day-dream setups. I don't come to the technical forums to make e-friends. Oddly enough, a lot of people seem to think my advice is pretty darn good. Most of the know-it-all asshats such as yourself just yell and scream when your stupid posts get stupid replies. Help yourself and learn. Now, you can fuck off.

you dont build shit. and if you did build a "short block" at that, who's block have you built? your own? blah blah blah you built shit. your probably some 17 year old internet geek who sits up all night watching videos on youtube. when i am ready to build a motor on my own i will. (which i helped my friend who is ASE certified for 9 years now, build HIS ls/vtec) and learned hands-on how things are done and the headaches you run into when doing so. The purpose of these forums are for people with answers. whether the questions they ask on here seem to be "stupid" to you, they are in fact very important to them. My questions were put out purposely to see reactions on other forums opposite of HT. Ive been posting on HT regularly for 5 years now. I am far from a "n00b" so go rant your "angry at my father" bullshit to someone else. build, tune, drag. that is what it is all about. Im a driver not a builder and this is more than just a hobby for me. This post and many more you will find all over multiple forums honda specific with people like YOU giving bad advice. So you can go install your header and tell all your friends you can build motors when you dont even know where to start. You will learn grasshopper. =)

also, if your ever in the northern region of NJ or NY send a PM to this name. I will be glad to come out and bust your shitter open on the street in anything you bring out. My shop and crew has cars 12 seconds and down and I personally have two street cars that I bring out myself and one track car if you really wanna get your feelings hurt. You can put your money where your mouth is kid

9 seconds is fast for sfwd. that is my track whore. and the questions were put out purposely for a reason junior. stay in cali with your abercrombie gear junior =) see you around.

WOW..... you obviously know nothing about Cali....Abercrombie..... Come out to Northern California..... Not so much Abercrombie as you may think... Even though my sig says Hollywood
I was raised right outside of Oakland.... It's not ghetto at all but its not really Abercrombie at the same time... Oh and I think you are talking shit to the wrong guy.... Blanco knows his shit Buddy... Good Luck on your build it looks good, that header is sickness

if you are such a great motor builder, why are you asking advice on here? if you have super fast cars built already, why don't you just race those? instead, you come on here looking like a total fucktard starting bullshit drama.

you're right, you should go back to drama-tech. sounds like you fit in perfectly.

A Jersey kid with a Honda? I thought they all drove Jeeps and wore popped collars.

I definitely think that 240- to 250 hp is possible... depending on if you did any head work and how it was built... I just finished rebuilding my ls vtec and I and planning on around 250 whp. My motor is fully built with every mod, the only thing i need is a good tune and maybe ITB's... what do you think about crome? ya or no?

this is seriously retarded not to side with the popular croud on this site but dude why would you ask that kind of question if you have had it done before? Thats what I don't get. If you have the same parts, and same tune and build the same motor then chances are you will get close to the same results.

Um, this thread is 9 months old guys...and JDM_EK9R hasn't been here in 4 months...I don't think he or Blanco really give a shit anymore....

So is this the point where I post up some obligatory "owned" and/or "pwnd" picture?
