im wanting to make roughly 300whp, as a goal, i am wondering the quality of the rev hard kit, and if it will be able to meet my goal effectivly and efficiently, its $2200 for the whole deal, including fuel pump

ive heard that there kits are "self explosion" kits, wether this is true i do not know, but this is what i hear in other forums, i do know their piping is mild steel, which is fine, and they use a half quality waste gate, jus curious as to what you guys think, ill be ready to purchase in 1 month, trying to decide on what will be best

also this wont be stock internals, only 6 psi on stock internals until i build the bottom end, but i dont plan to hit the 300 whp mark until the rest is built

  i dont like rev hard at all i had there drag turbo on my car and had to change most of there parts for better things beause they sucked hard but if you are going to run 10 to 15 psi i think ur ok but once you go boost you whant more trust me i think you shoud look for other turbo's like gerret if you whant more power

anyone else have opinions about them?

i dont know anyone that uses the drag turbos. ive been using the turbonetics t3/t4 ceramic ball bearing and couldnt be happier!

look at the drag gen 3 kits. all my boys used to run those and had no problems and run about the same price as rev hard kits

what do you guys think about ebay intercoolers?

don't boost your stock engine, i did it less than a week ago with 6 psi and i cracked all 4 of my pistons

and?

plenty of people run these kits, they need to be tuned right.

maybe you blew your engine because of the lack of tuning or it was bound to blow any day

Cracked pistons...I would say detonation due to a bad tune or no tune at all.

lol your a noob lol, even i knew that and i dont even have a turbo

im getting a turbonetics/treadstone kit is my decision, should be at my door in 3 weeks, and will be getting a $400 dyno tune up at a local honda shop, i plan to change out their pos BOV for a turbonetics tho, thats about all it needs, plus a wideband and i need to convert to obd1, other then that good to go!
