but im excited for you i hope you can get to your 4 week goal....

you gonna give her a nice coat of paint or just leave as a sleepmobile?

Yea the people before I got the car did that. And Yea Its going to be my little sleeper :) new paint soon. all parts should be here by this weekend.

i wish you luck on this....lol finding parts for my 3g civic is a bitch in australia....
The websites ive seen are just way to outta ma budget :( and junkyards here with 3g parts ur kidding even 4g parts are almost impossible to source

lol if i were you to make it look more sleeper (providing your street racing) is get it sprayed and every time u going for a race go throw some mud on it....if you want to go to extremes like my friend and i went and got some garden tools and stab the car  or even a baseball bat worked well as we found out ^_^ but it works wen he kills skylines

that thing is a nightmare.

i'll be watching though. keep us updated.

lol when i aventually got to my car it was bad but not this bar.....

it had one colour atleast.....lol spiders love cars did you know that? ^_^

Eeeeewwwwww!!!!

Thanks guy yea the people who had the car b4 didnt take care of it at all.... But she is all mine now so I am going to make here better.

UPDATE ABOVE!!!!!!!!!

Update!!!!!!!!
Today I installed the new thostat!!!! And I Give It All I Quick Cleaning :) I was able to get the timing cover off with out taking the pulley off for now. we will see if i have to take it for the timing belt install. any ideas on how hard it is to set the timing on these engines?

ahh good some more progress....just how i love my build threads....

as my father would say to me in a non believe way....

Keep the progress up son

Cool "keep on trucki'n"
My way of saying stay focused, alot of my projects end up getting put off or ended. Due to my lazy ass not staying focused on what needs to be done.

Timing a sohc isn't terribly difficult, but without the crank holding tool breaking the pulley bolt can be a chore (d16z6)...I don't know if this needs it. Invest in the tool if it does...I've done it both ways and it's well worth the extra 70 bucks.

I need that tool for the timing job or ???? lol i will post images by this weekend, i am getting it all one color.

I would say yes...but it's not for certain. I would imagine the crank pulley to be similar in construction and you will need it to break the bolt loose in order to change the timing belt.

well cause it has no timing cover on it right now. how do i move it in to place to set the timing on it.
