I think I heard somewhere that alcoholics can walk around with like a .30 BAC. That case above is still crazy. Almost half of her blood was alcohol, she should be dead.

it's not 1/2 her blood, it's .47 of 1%. so she had 99.53% blood. .47% alcohol.

they said that it takes years and years of alcoholism to develop a tolerance like that.
 
Uhh, driving drunk is not something that should be celebrated. Probly not what you meant, but just in case...
 
My friend had a .40 on his 22nd but he couldn't walk and did wind up in the hospital. I wonder how I could go??

holy shit....my friend got shipped off to hospital at 0.22 im now going to call him "the bitch" because he prides himself on that (shame on him)

I cant believe a WOMAN got to 0.47 :eek: and isnt in a coma...

and i thought aussies liked to have a drink...jeesh we can go to the bar at 18 but i dont think anyone in australia has been done at 0.47

like the articles says, it takes years and years of conditioning to do this. i'm sure my dad could do a .45. he's been an alcoholic for 20 years.
 
lol my assfaced stepfather used to drink atleast 1 and a half bottles of wild turkey a night....i bet he could have dont it too....
