Has anyone had any experience with Tanabe Sustec-SS dampners on a del sol? I've rode in two different GSR's with tanabe dampners & their by far the best suspension I've encountered on the street. Problem is, there is no application for del sol's. The part number is the same for Integras & Civics but I wanted to make sure there is no difference of the del sol suspension. As far as I know, there is no difference between the del sol/civic/integra suspension that would prohibit a dampner install.
 
ive got the ITR sustec pro SS on my sol (requires ITR LCAs)
they fit great
they ride beautifully
and they handle track use very well
no complaints from me
 
I figured that but was curious because I've seen other people with gsr's switch out ITR UCA's & such and never really thought there was a big benefit.

Hey E, are the del sol vtec's susceptible to rear subframe tear out if running a big sway bar? I've got a pretty stiff sway bar in the rear & am scared of that happening. Somethings telling me that only happens to civics that don't come from the factory with swaybars.
 
i suppose it would depend how big of a sway bar
but im going to say generally no they dont have as much of a risk

what are you running for a rear sway?

On my del sol vtec i've been running a JDM ITR rear sway bar 23mm? I'm using the Beaks kit to prevent subframe tear, so far so good with 100+ track days on the car. :)
