ok this was my first swap. all by my lonesome:

JDM B18C into a 93 civic lx
converted auto to manual.
aem short ram.
edelbrock victor x TB (old one was shot)
brembo slotted rotors and pads
4-1 s/s header
skunk2 dual bend shifter and matching knob
front strut bar (not installed just yet; needs paint)
z3 fenders
new P/S door

the paint job is up next. im thinking flaked metallic silver w/ a flaked metallic black touring stripe. any other ideas for paint since i have a grey interior? ive got a 99 civic si radiator that im eyeing. exhaust is next to do in the coming weeks. followed by engine bay clean and paint w/ a wiretuck. coilovers w/ rims and tires on in the future (prolly summer or fall), but after i do a 4 to 5 lug conversion as well as rear drum to disc conversion. so thatll be pricey. here are the pics.

buahaha. yeh, its in the midst of a paintjob. and i dont call it a sleeper, i call it redneck painted. haha. ive got the new door for the passenger side and 2 new fenders. the rear quarterpanel has already been pulled a bit, going to need some more weld pulls and filler. no problemo (says my enlisted body worker...). the trim is all getting filled in as well, never liked it.

makes 2 of us. just got done deciding on paint. going w/ a HoK flaked silver. no stripe.

nice. very clean. im aiming for simple and clean. silver. tinted stock tails. black or gunmetal rims. eventually match the interior and engine bay. is that a metallic gold?

silver w/ gunmetal rims will be clean and still agressive, especially when that

VTEC pops:driver: nice choice

I'll send you pics of my new toy, just got the shell "D"

nice. i like it. im thinking of throwing some red in there a bit...very little. just enough to add it. think itll be a nice touch to match my skunk2 knob...

Can any of you guys show me how to convert a dpfi-mpfi without a resistor box, because I've a 92-95 complete intake manifold with del sol injectors that doesn't use resistor box

I'm guessing your trying to put that intake mani on the dpfi engine?

If your going to change your dpfi to mpfi, you should change to a B-series

It's not worth changing all that wiring just to swap the intake mani;) "D"

haha everyones got jokes on my "redneck paintjob" and dents. they will be fixed, i swear, lol. and even then itll still be missing side skirts until i find a nice kit or something.
