Let the 3927482234 months of NBA playoff begin... ok so its only 2 months but thats just a rediculous amount of time.. way too long imo. Every series should be 5 games until the finals.

Anywho, what teams do people have winning it all?? My pick, Dallas (who i picked last year as well). They're a better team now and now have some great experience. Although, I am rooting for Golden State because its nice to see a team w/o any huge stars making it to the playoffs (like the Bulls) and actually winning a game. I also have to root for the Cav's, Lebron is the man, but he should have gone to college ;) . Miami?? fuck miami in their collective stupid asses, Shaq sucks.. i fucking hate him... my rant would be too long so ill leave it at that :p I wouldnt mind seeing Orlando make some sort of run or even the Nets.

Besides the stupid amount of time the playoffs take to even get to the finals, I hate how every year it comes down to the 4 power house teams; Dallas, Detroit, Miami, Phoenix, and San Antonio. NBA needs some real damn competition

So what team you picking to go all the way? ^_^

people still watch the NBA? i stopped watching anything other than football after high school.

my pick, miami. hahahah

j/k my vote goes to phoenix. can't beat experience. plus the nba is run and gun now.

oh, yea lets see...

my pick is going to be Dallas (if they get outta GS alive) or Pheonix

Last nights hostility game FTW!! lol

Last night was pretty good, Dallas went back to normal and GS had 2 players ejected.. good stuff.

I used to watch the NBA back in the good ol days... I've just started in the past 2 years watching it and getting interested.

NCAA>NBA still by far.

i found this...

#1 - No college sport is better than the professional version. Unless maybe a girls sport, and no ones watching it for their athleticism.

For the East, I think the Pistons or Chicago will go to the finals.
For the West, again, either Phoenix or Dallas.

While I'll always cheer for the 'stones, whoever puts on the best show and wins will earn my respect.

the suns will win it this year but the mavs will be a close series.

detroit wont win this year, they are walking all over my 2nd fav team magic. suns being my 1.

kobe might be an ass but he can play some fuckin ball.

Kobe could possibly be the best player in the NBA right now.

I like how LA (and Kobe) finally started sharing the ball. Gee look what happens when you give people a chance to play like a team.. you win!! There is no way Kobe can single handedly beat a team, maybe the shitty ones in reg play but not in the playoffs.

do you watch nba basketball?? Did you watch Kobe at all this year? He did some amazing things. He scored 45 last night. in the reg season how many 50+ games did he have?? Not only can he put up huge numbers hes a great defender, can pass the ball reallll well (when he wants to lol), and he can pretty much dunk/shoot over anyone. He is a no fear type player and doesnt care who is guarding him, he will own them.

dallas or underdog cleveland.

and the only reason everyone thinks kobe is good is because one he is a ball hog and two is the only big name on the lakers

you dont know real stats...
its like saying nash just likes to give the ball away...

i have to agree with formby on this. you really don't know basketball. and how is cleveland an underdog? they are the #2 seed in the eastern conference. the are the second highest favorite it the conference.

underdog would be GS, Orlando, and the Bulls (well kinda, i guess the Nets would be more of one..)

Anyone who goes 4 consecutive games scoring 50 or more points is good in my book (two of those 60 and 65). He had what... like 8 or 9 games where he scored 50 or more this season, i think its a new record or atleast close to it.

overrated?? yeah, ok. Do you see his defense? Do you see how he can pass the ball (ofcourse if and when he does)? If the next best player on your team was Odom you'd shoot 30 times a game too. I just looked at the attemps by players from last night... multiple people were in the 20's, you wanna call them ball hogs too? Kobe doesnt consistantly shoot 30+ times a game, he does it when he has to. Its not like every single game he makes a point to shoot 454395 times.

btw, GS leads the series 2-1!!!! And Chicago is on the verge of a sweep!!! OMG

close, it was 10. but i think chamberlain's records shouldn't be counted. there have been a lot of rule changes since then. but for him, it would be like me playing against 8th graders on a 9th foot rim.

Chamberlain's impact on the game is also reflected in the fact that he was directly responsible for several rule changes in the NBA, including widening the lane to try to keep him farther away from the hoop, institute offensive goaltending and revise rules governing inbounding the ball and shooting free throws.[1][11] Among others, Chamberlain was so athletic that he could convert foul shots via a slam dunk.

kobe is the best scorer the nba has seen in years. he can score at will and could break every scoring record....if he wanted. but he would rather win and get out of the shadow of needing shaq to be a winner.

Ill let him keep his records since he has banged about 2000 women. They dont call him Wilt the Stilt for nothin ;)
you're missing a "0" there buddy. it's 20,000.
