performance parts?

aight so im currently working on a engine swap, i got a 89 civic dx hatch, and im swaping in a dohc zc... and from my left over money (about $300) i was wondering what kind of performace parts or just in general what would be best to spend the $300 on? i have some ideas, but i wana kno what you guys think would be best to get with that small amont of money? the whole car is stock besides a short ram air intake and front and back strut bars, so wat do you guys think, what brands, and why? i have some other money for oils and and filters and spark plugs and that kind of stuff and im left with 300, so ya.

as far as engine performance, the first thing you should get is a quality header and a larger free flowing exhaust system - 2 1/4" diameter exhaust all the way to the back

$300 isn't close to enough for a quality header, dude.

x2 i paid 800 for a "decent" header

ok so when im buying headers or parts i would buy them for an 1.6L 89 integra right? because i swaped in a dohc zc..

if you are buying parts for the motor....you but the parts for the motor. if you are buying parts for the chasis (suspension, body etc) you buy the parts for the car model make and year

ya but alot of websites only go by car year and model, they dont go by what engine, so what do i choose?

if your motor came out of a 92 prelude...then you buy engine parts for the 92 prelude.

if your motor came out of a 83 civic wagon...you buy the engine parts for the 83 civic wagon

if your motor came out of a 2001 nasa space ship...you buy the engine parts for the 2001 nasa space ship

if you motor came out of a 98 international diesel...you buy the engine parts for the 98 international diesel
